Black sesame has always been a favorite dessert flavor profile of mine. Popular in the Asian culture, I practically grew up on eating black sesame desserts, like the oh-so-comforting Chinese sweet black sesame soup and black sesame dumplings. Elote, also known as Mexican street corn, is absolutely one of my favorite ways to eat corn. The only downside is that it gets messy eating that buttery, chili powdered, lime-covered corn on a cob.
