About a million No Doubt and solo tours later, I finally saw Gwen Stefani live on her "This Is What The Truth Feels Like" Tour with Eve in Mountain View, CA, and they were both amazing.
Eve opened up the show doing some of her greatest, like "Gangsta Lovin'" and "Who's That Girl." Watching her perform made me miss her being on the airwaves. Here's to me hoping she comes out with new music and just kill it because we kind of need it.
Now onto Gwen. First, let me just say she has always had this fun and cool vibe about her that makes you want to be her best friend, but seeing her live brings it to a whole new level. Everything from her wardrobe to how she runs around the stage and how she brought fans up on stage, it was just all so fun.
Second, do you know how many hits Gwen has had over these years? Many. So many that I honestly forgot how long she has been in the game. It was a night of back-to-back hits, and yes, including No Doubt songs(!), along with several songs from her latest album, "This is What The Truth Feels Like." And of course, Eve had to come back out to do "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and "Rich Girl" with Gwen. The entire set was two hours long, but she really could've done it for three hours and we would all still be right there with her until the very end.
I was actually a bit sad when the show was over. You can just tell how much fun she has and how she loves performing in front of her fans, especially here in the Bay Area. Her latest album might've just came out and her tour is wrapping up, but I sure hope she comes back for another tour soon.
